Publish content for your establishments

This article explains the main configurations of content and specifications by type of content


1. Import and edit medias

Import your médias

Upload your media in the Media Library: drag and drop your files, select them from your computer, or paste a media URL. An informational modal will appear to show the upload progress and will disappear once all uploads are complete.


Edit images

Click the edit button on the image you want to edit to access all the features: crop, resize, annotate, and more.


2. Create a content

Select medias

  • To publish content with a single media: click the share icon on that content.
  • To create a post with multiple media files: select the media, then click on "Select an action" and finally choose "Add media to the portal."


Tip to easily find a media file, use the following features:
- Keyword search
- Filters by upload date, file type, labels, or color palette
- Sorting by last modified date or file name


The publication modal opens with the selected media(s). 


Configure the content (all type of contents)

  • Type of content : Instagram Reel, Facebook Album, Google Post, etc.

The "images, videos, documents" type is selected by default.

You can select as many content types as are compatible with the selected media. Technical specifications are available in the dedicated article.




  • Title (compulsory): must be very clear so your establishment can understand rapidly the content ; up to 60 characters
  • Category (compulsory): only one to select by content
  • Allow editing: checked by default - uncheck to prevent editing
  • Publication date
  • Expiration date
  • Tags
  • Legal notice


Specific to images, videos, documents

  • Text of the publication : the text of the Facebook publication in case a user click on "Share"
  • Shareable : yes / no, allows the possibility to make the image shareable on Facebook  
  • Downloadable : yes / no, allows the possibility to protect documents to be viewable online only.
  • Cover image: click on "Add a cover" to the right of the media (at the bottom of the creation modal), which opens a second window
    • For videos: used to illustrate the video in the Brand by Placeloop best-of newsletter
    • For documents: used to illustrate the document in the content portal and in the Brand by Placeloop best-of newsletter



Specific to Facebook, Instagram and Google publications

  • Texte of the publication (compulsory) : caption of the publication. Click on "Customize publication text" to configure a different text by type of content. 



Reminder for the Google posts
  • The first 100 characters are crucial—they should convey the core message or entice users to click and read more.
  • Hashtags are not useful.
  • DO NOT insert variables for phone numbers or URLs in the text, as Google reserves specific CTA buttons for that purpose.
