Understand the establishment's experience

The best way to define your content planning and production strategy is to put yourself in the shoes of your establishments. Let’s get started!

Step by step

#01 Habits and connection triggers to the platform

An establishment can connect directly to the platform, from a favorite or a shortcut on their phone, if they have developed a habit

  • related to their online communication routine
  • to gather information (pricing, training & tutorials, etc)

An establishment can connect to the platform following a trigger

  • reading a brand communication that mentions or redirects to the Placeloop platform
  • receiving or reading a brand’s weekly best-of Newsletter sent by Placeloop
  • receiving by mail a physical communication kit (posters, flyers, stickers, etc)
  • meeting with a sales representative

#02 Landing page upon connection

An establishment that connects spontaneously to the platform can

  • In the main menu, select the “Content Portal” tab and then select a Brand and finally a section (“Marketing campaign,” “Photos, videos, documents,” “Instagram posts,” “Facebook posts,” “Google posts,” etc)
  • In the horizontal menu, select the “Activity” tab and view the latest content published by its partner brands

Red notifications draw attention to the number of new contents available and not yet viewed by the establishment, at each possible entry point to access content.

Tip : regularly publishing new content helps attract the attention of your establishments through notification bubbles.

An establishment that connects to the platform from a redirection link (weekly best-of Newsletter, brand communication) can arrive

  • on your brand content portal
  • in a marketing campaign
  • on a selection of contents, according to a category and/or a tag
  • on a specific content

#03 Navigation in your brand content portal

The “Marketing campaigns” draw attention to a highlight and group a selection of contents, through a modal that opens when the brand content portal is loaded and a banner that remains at the top of the brand content portal.

In the sections of content types (“Photos, videos, documents,” “Instagram posts,” “Facebook posts,” “Google posts,” “Email campaigns”), contents are displayed with the following priority rules

  1. Pinned contents
  2. Contents from newest to oldest

An establishment can filter the displayed contents based on classic criteria: keywords, type, category, tags

Additional content is loaded automatically as you scroll to the bottom of the page.

Tip : based on the maturity of your establishment network in using Placeloop, pin contents intended to welcome establishments or contents that must be seen.

Important, some elements play a crucial role!

- The title and cover of your contents provide an indication to your establishments, making them want to preview and take action.

- Selection criteria (keywords, type, category, tags) are even more useful for your establishments if you offer them a wide variety and quantity of contents.

#03 Content preview and action

    1. Upon clicking on a content, it opens in a popup modal

    2. Depending on the type of content, one or two action buttons will be provided ("Download" or "Share")

How to measure the experience of your establishments?

To measure the success of the system, the key metrics to track are:

  • the number of active establishments which is the number of establishments that have interacted with your brand’s content portal
  • the number of viewed content (previewed content)
  • the number of downloaded content
  • the number of shared content
