Access and analyze the performance of your establishments’ Facebook and Instagram posts with their audience.
Reminder:
- The available statistics correspond to the activity of establishments that are not configured as “excluded from statistics” in your Store Manager.
- The time periods used to calculate the data are based on the time zone configured in your Brand account.
Display and Reach
From your Analytics, go to the "Organic Facebook" and "Organic Instagram" tabs.
In each tab, for the selected period, you will find:
- The total number of displays, corresponding to the total number of impressions.
- The sum per post of the number of people reached. Placeloop does not have access to social media end-user data and therefore cannot deduplicate this value.
- The top 5 most shared content by your establishments
- The top 5 most viewed content (displayed) by end consumers
- The top 5 content with the most reach by end consumers. As mentioned, the reported reach is a non-deduplicated sum.
Note: - Volumes are counted from the publication date up to 30 days after the publication date. - For Instagram Reels: impressions are not provided by Instagram, so the number of people reached is used by default to estimate a minimum number of impressions. - For Facebook Stories: neither impressions nor reach are available, as they are not provided by Facebook.
As you probably know, social media algorithms have regularly changed in recent years, leading to contextual variations. Analyze the year-over-year performance of your establishments’ posts while comparing them with the evolution of your national brand social media accounts.
That said, do not compare e display made on one of your establishments’ social media accounts with a display made on your national brand accounts. A display on your brand’s social media works like a “corporate” communication, sometimes perceived as distant, whereas a display from a local retailer creates a much more human, direct connection rooted in the consumer’s daily life.
The voice of a local retailer carries differently than that of a brand: it inspires trust, creates connection, and transforms a message into a proximity-based recommendation.
When a retailer publishes, they speak to their community: clients they meet, advise, and build loyalty with every day. This direct link makes all the difference.
